Abstract - The guidelines to prepare an A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) paper in two-column format for the Proceedings of the Conference MET’2013 Modern Electric Traction, Warsaw, October 10-12, 2013 - are given. The use of WORD FOR WINDOWS is suggested.
Language
The paper must be written in good English, in a comprehensive and unambiguous manner. In order to avoid 'typos', it is recommended to double-check spelling of the text.
We expect you
To provide us with papers saved in both DOC (Word for Windows suggested) and PDF format.
Paper length
The two-column paper length is strictly limited to a maximum of six pages including text and figures. Do not number the pages.
First page layout
The title in the first page of the paper should be typed at 4cm interval from the top of the A4 page. The title of the paper, author's name and affiliation should be page centred.
Margins
Paper size: A4 (21.x 29.7 cm) Main text of the paper: in two columns (the text in columns should be both-side justified). Space between columns: 0.5cm. Please level the length of columns on the last page.
Table 1 - Page margins
Fonts Text should be justified. Interval between type lines: automatic or single spaced. Use Times New Roman. Please do not indent the text, which should always start at the left side margin. Fonts' style and size are set in Table 2.

Equations
Equations should be column-centred with a number of the equation in parentheses and located at right margin of the column. There should be a single space between the equations and the text above or below the equation. We strongly recommend usage of an equation editor. E=mc2 (1) Symbols
Symbols and acronyms should be typed clearly and should be defined the first time they appear. To put a symbol in the text use ‘insert symbol’ option rather than equation editor. Use the International System (SI) of units.
Figures and Graphs
We suggest putting figures and graphs (scanned) as files in JPG, BMP, PCX or WMF format straight in text or in case the graph is wider than one column at the end of the paper (after the references section).
Fig.1 - Example of a graph Figures and graphs may be in colour but readable when printed in black and white version. All the lettering should be large enough to be easily legible.
Conclusions
Low quality (English, content) and lately submitted manuscripts will not be published in the Conference materials and will not be included in the final programme of the Conference.
References
References should be included in the main text using square brackets. A numerical list of references should be given at the end of the paper in alphabetical order.
