"Modern Electric Traction"

October 10-12, 2013 Warsaw

We are pleased to invite you to take part in the Eleventh International Conference Modern Electric Traction MET'2013.

The Conference will be an opportunity for specialists in electrified means of transport to present papers and products on state-of-art in all the aspects – technical, organisational and a role of the electified transport in a sustainable development policy in the Integrated Europe.

MET’2013 is the every-second year event allowing meetings and fruitful discussions of reaserchers, engineers, managers and representatives of different institutions working for electric traction about the role of the electrified transport in a sustainable development policy of EU. The Conference is hosted by the Electric Traction Division, Warsaw University of Technology and co-organised by the Chair of Electrified Transport Engineering Gdansk University of Technology and Electrotechnical Institute -Warsaw.

We hope you will find Warsaw (opening ceremony at the Warsaw University of Technology-Politechnika Warszawska, Small Hall in Main Building, Pl. Politechniki 1 on Thursday 10th of October at 11.00 a.m.) and the Conference site in a resort outside Warsaw (the organisers will provide transport from Warsaw and return to Warsaw) (afternoon 10th- afternoon 12th of October) nice place in the centre of Europe to meet with colleagues-specialists, managers and officials from different countries and to discuss the role of the environmental friendly transport in the process of European integration.

Social meetings and an accompanying programme will be organised as well.
